Koenders aeration systems have been keeping our Retention pond clean for 10 years. We have done nothing on it until recently when we replaced the maintenance repair kit.
The water comes off the buildings and large parking lots through ditches gathering into the retention area near the building. We originally installed the aeration system to ensure the pond does not stagnate. We wanted to eliminate odors and breeding of mosquitoes especially now due to the risk of west nile virus. We are extremely happy with our Koenders aeration system.
