We installed our windmill aeration system in our pond about a year ago to cut
down on pond algae and weeds. We had no idea that it would do such an
effective job of reducing the amount of muck at the bottom of our pond.
Within 7 months of having our windmill installed we saw a dramatic decrease in
the amount of sludge. Initially there was about 3 Ft of loose sediment and
now after aerating we are down to less than a foot.
