Nature’s Pond Conditioner
Koenders Windmills has designed Natures Pond Conditioner – a Pond Conditioner that is totally Chemical FREE. Extremely important feature for many jurisdictions around the world, in particular, the many states and provinces in North America that require FDA approval for Pond Chemical.
Natures Pond Conditioner does not require any approval or reviews from various Government administrations for it is not a “drug”. Natures Pond Conditioner “NPC” does not “kill” a disease or alter the health of the fish. Rather, NPC only “enhances” water quality. Regarding pest control, NPC does nothing to “kill” un-desired mammals , crustaceans, fish, or plants. Rather, NPC uptakes excess nutrients making the water environment less attractive for “nuisance” plants and algae matter to grow.
HOW IT WORKS
When aquatic plantlife dies, whether naturally or chemically induced, the cellular structure begins to decay. Natural bacteria/fungi already present in the water will produce enzymes to chemically reduce this material into simple sugars (carbonaceous) that can be utilized by the microbes for energy and other metabolic functions such as reproduction.
Unaddressed, this nutrient saturation will slowly settle on the pond floor and encourage algae and weed growth recurrence.
Nature’s Pond Conditioner introduced into the pond will initiate the elimination of unwanted plant and algae by depriving the plantlife of specific light rays necessary for photosynthesis, it then accelerates the decay process with super concentrations of natural occurring bacteria.
More importantly however, the presence of usable nutrient is dramatically reduced providing a window of time whereby the pond is absent of excessive algal growth. Water clarity will improve within 10 to 15 days of introduction and should remain weed free for 60-90 days, with some users claiming success up to 120 days. In many parts of North America this is the pond season.

Optimal and long lasting results – use in combination with an aeration system.
Aeration increases the dissolved oxygen levels in the water, speeding up the decomposition process of all organic debris, resulting in a clean and healthy pond ecosystem. Aeration is 8-10 times more effective when it starts from the deeper areas of the pond (bottom up aeration).
